Mutable static

Static websites don't need to become bloated web apps to embrace change. They also don't need to be always the same.

Make the website become mutable, automatically, with the passage of time.

With cron jobs, trigger a new site build periodically. With math or info from the month, generate custom art or photography arrangement of the home screen. Link your dynamic data such as playlists, weather, what you're doing now.

Introduce some randomness - make parts of the website be procedurally generated, up to a point of out of control by the author. Embrace glitches.
